How do you organize your playlists?

What's up people, I'm hoping I can get some feedback.

I'm having trouble organizing the music on my iPhone.

I have playlists dedicated to compilations, others by artist (Basil O'Glue, Khomha, Rex Mundi, etc.)

But I also have a mix of classic trance, 2012 releases, remixes so on and so forth.

However I've run out of ideas since a lot of my playlists tend to resemble one another.

I have two dedicated to deeper tunes, Melodic, Melodic II. I have another titled Big Room, another two Classic trance, then by artist, and each compilation, then another by 2012 releases.

So how do you guys organize your playlists so they don't become redundant or ridiculously long? (One of my playlists clocks in at 8.8 hours :O )

hmm, good point, I think by yearly releases would be my best bet to keep my playlists from being redundant. From there I can split them into volumes if each playlist becomes too long.

Yeah man, my Coldharbour releases playlists are the longest on my phone, but I'm not complaining, with such consistent quality releases, I have fun finding a flow of songs in which to organize them into.
