Thanks, i've seen the info at the ADE site.. It's a shame, but I just can't
handle Armin and his French friend mr.Guetta at one night!!!! ((

I hope Markus plays his own Coldharbour sound, and rocks Amsterdam :P

I'd won't count on it when hearing the last 2 World Tours containing tracks that are "made for the club".

    Those days are over.

I watched him at Digital Society in Leeds on Friday and he played a very progressive 2 hour set, hardly any housey tracks. Tunes like Callisto (Pobsky Mix), Valley of Dreams, Fallen Angel, Surreal (album mix), between the rays. I get the impression that the world tour recordings do not properly represent what he plays at every gig

I've been to many livesets..seen Markus live for about 15 times
..every time he plays different, and rocks the place!

If it is in a club, or outdoor.. doesn't matter.. This man has never disappointed me :P

That's the thing with Markus, you think you are going to know what he will play and then he plays something completely different. Every single time I've watched him this has happened. He has never played a set that is similar to the World Tour recording from the same month when I've seen him. This is why it is no good just sitting on internet forums all day, criticizing his live sets based on the world tour recordings. Live is always a different experience.

I just think that a lot of the people criticize the show and therefore "assume" that all his sets are reflective of the WT episodes. And frankly, that's just unrealistic. Criticize the episodes is okay, everyone's got differing opinions and tastes, but to listen to every WT this year and not see him live a few times, it's unfair.

Now complaining about the state of the scene, that's something else and not limited to Markus. Now as I mentioned in the chat earlier today, I think Markus does a great job walking the fine line of being artistic and running a business. Markus knows his fanbase is his success and he does an even better job at listening to us.
