this isn't only my opinion

All high rank DJs always plays the same tunes in his their live sets. It's not unique to Markus and it's been like that since the dawn of times. People just didn't notice in the past because we did not have this massive access to worldwide live recordings before.

If you want new tunes listen to their radio shows. Live sets are meant for entertaining an audience and the higher ranked the DJ the more clueless their audiences get unfortunately, so they need to be fed recognizable stuff. I hate that it's like that too, but it's something that us freaks unfortunately have to deal with.
