Any news on a launch party/broadcast?
I ordered my copy on Friday through amazon, along with two more compilations. However it was out of stock, at least I'll have three more CDs to add to my collection :D
I really hope I can get my copy before next Friday, so if I go see Markus at Mansion he can sign it.
After listening a few times what can i say: Markus never fails

Whole compilation blew me away, love the City series and this one doesn't dissappoint. Not even going to try and choose a favourite track. Awesome stuff :)
I got my copy on Friday just in time for his set at Mansion on Saturday.
And MAN! I am totally blown away by CD1. I have it on loop ever since.
Since I had been avoiding the broadcast to avoid spoiling my first listen, it was a very wise decision. I listened to the first CD twice without looking at the TL. And so many times I found myself saying out loud, "WOW!", and "OH SHIT!" and chuckling at how incredible this CD is.
Without glancing at the TL and taking it in in one listen, it is literally a journey. Each track really complements the one before.
I kept wondering how Markus was going to top Prague'11 and LA'12, and he did it! The wait was truly worth it.
And to think, I still got CD2 to listen to!
Cherry on top was Saturday night when I heard a few of these songs live on Saturday. Literally, the entirety of CD1 is my favorite.
And a big thank you to Markus who played my request, Rex Mundi-Backpain.
It was quite a moment dancing to Mundi's tune that I heard last year during his GDJB GM. From then on it got stuck in my head.
Props not just to Markus, but Tim, Mike, Heather, and everyone at Coldharbour for releasing a true diamond of a compilation.
I had to wait until the 25th of October to pick up the physical CD release in Australia, and then the only major retailer that's getting it didn't get any stock and have to order it in.
Problem is, there's no date for when orders will get in =[
The Extended Versions Vol.1 is out :P

Did you see the bug? The track from Danilo Ercole on this volume isn't Point of View but Freesing Rain ;) LOL
/\ I know! I just picked up some of my favorites.
Ruffault-Progressive Dreams (WOWZERS!!!!!! Markus has made me a fan now of Ruffault, I also picked up a few of his other productions)
Digital X-Phantom (Proper trance track right here! I love the old school sound it carries in the beginning)
Tucandeo-To An End (I expect nothing but the best of my favorite Irish duo, and To An End is wonderful, deep, a modern art track)
Danilo Ercole-Point of View (I love Danilo's songs, they always have a groove and identity of their own and Point of View does not stop delivering aural sensation from beginning to end.)
I also got Sequ3L-We Evolve (Another one of my immediate favorites from my first listen, def a must have in it's Original Mix)
Those were my favorites from Vol. 1
As for CD2; it is a true Markus Schulz club night condensed onto a CD format. All the songs just carry the perfect flow and even as I'm driving around, I feel transported back to the dance floor with Markus perfect arrangement of songs. Literally, each song just builds and builds until Mardi Gras. And then it truly is a Mardi Gras as the track hits and the melody takes you to the peaks of the highest mountains. I'm really anxiously waiting for Remember This and Mardi Gras to be released!!!!!
My top picks from CD 2 are
Digital X-Stratosphere
Danilo Ercole-Freezing Rain
Elevation vs. Grube & Hovsepian-Fair Winds (This Coldharbour trio just gets better and better, each new song just surpasses the one prior)
Vassilakis & Tarr-Galea.
Oh hell, the second half of CD 2 is just perfect clubbing bliss. If I list all my favorite tracks, I might as well list the remainder of CD2 :D
Same goes for CD1, too many great tracks to list, that as a whole, I never skip a song.
