Presenting Markus Schulz & Jochen Miller - Rotunda - the official Citymoves Anthem for 2011!

In their own individual right, Markus Schulz and Jochen Miller have produced a multitude of anthems between them over the years. Whether it’s The New World or Brace Yourself, or Future Cities to Humanoid, they have rocked thousands of dancefloors and millions of fans worldwide. And with them being long admirers of each other’s work, a collaborative effort between the two was inevitable.

The opportunity to do just that presented itself at the end of March, following a chaotic period of parties in Markus’ hometown for Miami Music Week. Having played together for the sold out Markus Schulz & Friends event at Club Space, Jochen was invited into the Coldharbour studios, where an intense three day session resulted in a future anthem.

And after reaching out to Markus’ Facebook community, the fans christened the track “Rotunda”.

The track has already been a highlight in Markus Schulz’s livesets, with notable plays at the ASOT 500 events in Buenos Aires and Den Bosch, along with Montreal’s annual Bal en Blanc extravaganza.

Rotunda also looks set to dominate the early summer season, having being chosen as the official anthem for the Citymoves events in 2011, taking place in various locations in the Netherlands, beginning on Queensday, and with Jochen confirmed for the Alkmaar edition on May 22nd.

As the festival season approaches, Rotunda is an appropriately named mover and shaker, ready to deliver maximum effect in typical Markus Schulz and Jochen Miller anthemic fashion.

Rotunda will be available exclusively from Beatport on Monday May 2nd.

Any info on the title of the track? Seems an odd choice, I think I missed a memo, LOL.

A lot of people don't like Rotunda, but I really do. :D

2 be honest i dont like it, 2 much jochen miller's style in this tune, it sounds like another part of Brace Yourself

I like the tune, I'm just curious as why the title was chosen, Rotunda.

Makes me think of a patio.

A "rotunda" is a large, circular room, aka a Big Room that is round.

I love the song myself. Has a few parts that really make me smile. I was hoping it would have a version that had more of Markus' sound in it on the release. Maybe in the future though.

Markus Schulz & Jochen Miller is just an amazing duo, let's hope the Dutch @ Citymoves will love it. 8-)
