I think this is the interview where Markus referred to in this tweet (http://twitter.com/MarkusSchulz/statuses/32822834711498752). (part 1 of the interview)

Thanks for these, I feel for him but seems that despite very tough childhood and life he dealt quite good with it and is open to talk about it. I particularly like the part when he talks about his radio show and motivations to do it, he survived thanks to music and now he feels his music is helping other people aswell.

I like that Markus not only makes himself accessible to his fans, but also relatable. And the fact that he channels his emotions into his music, it defined his sound, the Markus Schulz sound and it gave birth to Coldharbour.

He is by definition an artist through and through.

Thanks for the thread Daydreamer.

Part 1 looked somewhat of a torture with some of those questions. I think this was what Markus was tweeting about back then.
I sometimes wonder though - questions that DJs (or other celebs/artists) get asked are almost always the same... Of course I did hear something I did not yet know, and always enjoy just seeing Markus talk about the things he likes...you get that 'no pretence' feeling coming from him, which makes it to appreciate what he does so much more.

I have to say I quite enjoyed Harith's quizzing Markus for the Prague'11 album.

Mucho Thanks Daydreamer for those vids though!!..

Spot on mate. I love Markus not only for his music, but his personality and values. He seems so down to earth and honest. Now, somewhere in the interview he said he has moved from 'Heavy Dark' to 'Optimistic Dark' musically. Really? I feel that he is becoming more heavy dark and in the past he was more melodic/atmospheric dark. O well, doesnt matter. As long as its dark.

jesus. did the interviewer really lead off with those questions? that was painful to watch... at least markus handled it well.

Well, the way I see it, yes the questions were tough, and at times I was a bit uncomfortable seeing our boy answer the questions.

But I also see this as a character study of our favorite artist and what his mentality is, and in essence, he bares his soul for us, allowing us a glimpse into his life outside his profession.

In short, I liked this interview very much.

Thanks for the footage :) damn the intervieuw guy sounds so annoying in it, and asking weird questions, it gives a look in markus his personal life, but the way it happened isnt the way to go for me:|
